Pursuant to legislation governing the FRR, in July of 2003 the Fund formed a manager selection committee to assist the Executive Board in the task of screening portfolio management companies being considered for asset management mandates. The Manager Selection Committee is fully independent and examines management applicants with due care and diligence. Its members are subject to ethical guidelines that are consistent with their duties.
Article R 135-27 of the French Social Security Code provides for the formation of a Manager Selection Committee, which is responsible for opening and analyzing the proposals submitted by asset management firms competing for FRR mandates. In addition, the Executive Board consults with the Committee on these RFPs, and reports on the performance of the mandates referred to in this article.
After starting out in the trading room at the Banque de France, Anne Courrier has spent her entire career in asset management: first as a portfolio manager and then as a CEO in various asset management companies (BDF Gestion, Fédéris Gestion d'actifs). Since 2015 , she has worked as an investment director with institutional investors (Fonds de Réserve pour les Retraites, Malakoff-Humanis, Groupe VYV). Within the VYV Group, she now focuses on SRI and sustainable and impact finance. She also holds several directorships, for a mutual insurance company specialising in pensions as well as several companies in the health and care sector.
Catherine Guinefort held several positions in Paribas Asset Management, then in BNP Paribas Asset Management (from 1988 to 2005: Head of European equities team, from 2005 to 2008: head of the socially responsible investments team) and previously, in various financial groups, Catherine started her career in the French General Planning Commission. Since the end of 2008, she held a position as volunteer controller of the Pasteur Institute for the “Comité de la Charte”.
Patrick Savadoux has spent most of his career as head of portfolio management at various financial institutions (Crédit Agricole, Caisse des Dépôts, Mandarine Gestion). During his career, he specialized in socially responsible investment and solidarity where he launched and managed in 1994 the very first fund of its kind. He also holds the position of Vice-President within the FInansol Association (Collective bringing together all the actors of the solidarity economy).
Thierry Coussieu first spent 8 years in one of the first American banks before joining BNP, now BNP Paribas, to carry out operational and managerial functions at the International Division, then at the Financial Division and at the Investment Bank Division (BFI). Currently, he collaborates voluntarily with the Financial Directorate of the French Red Cross.
Its current Chairman is Adrien Perret, a member of the FRR Executive Board.
